The Annapurna Sanctuary of the Himalayas is encircled by many peaks, namely the Machhapuchhre or Fishtal (6997m), the unclimbed Fang (7647m), Gangapurna (7454m), Annapurna 1 (8091m), and Annapurna South (7273m). The trek starts from hiking to the hills of the serene Modi Khola Valley which is a walk through the forests of oak and bamboo, colored red by huge shrubs of Rhododendron. Annapurna Base Camp trek trail passes through the beautiful Annapurna Conservation Area project, one of the most well conserved snowy sanctuaries of the country. The entire landscape of the area, with the majestic snow-capped mountains on one side, and the view of the beautiful high mountain forests on the other side. Annapurna Base Camp trek takes you through the Machhapucchre Base Camp and the Annapurna South Base Camp.

Annapurna Base Camp trek route starts with a flight or by land from Kathmandu to the city of lakes, Pokhara, a major tourist attraction of Nepal that sits protected in the shadow of the peaks that tower behind this valley. After landing, a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul is followed by a light walk to the village along the banks of the Modi River and Birethanti. Annapurna Base Camp trek trail takes you through dense forests that are home to many rare species of birds and animals. Furthermore, the forest is also home to some exotic species of medicinal herbs and plants. The trek can be epitomized in the following routes – banks of Modi Khola, Gurung village of Chomrong, cave of Hinku and finally to the passage that takes you into the sanctuary that starts the spectacular views of the Machhapuchhre and the Hiunchuli.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Pokhara by road 8\9 hours by air 30 minutes.

Day 4 : Pokhara to Ulleri (2010mt.)

Day 5 : Ulleri to Ghorrpani (2870mt.)

Day 6 : Ghorepani to Tadapani (2670mt.)

Day 7 : Tadapani to Chumrung (2140mt.)

Day 8 : Chumrung to Bamboo (2335mt.)

Day 9 : Bamboo to Deurali (3230mt)

Day 10 : Deurali to A.B.C. (4130mt.)

Day 11 : A.B.C. to Dovan (2505mt.)

Day 12 : Dovan to Jhinu (1710mt.)

Day 13 : Jhinu to Dhampus (1650mt.)

Day 14 : Dhampus to Pokhara (800mt.)

Day 15 : Rest day + Shightseeing in Pokhara.

Day 16 : Pokhara to Kathmandu, a) by road 8\9 hours, b) by air 30 minutes
