Ghorepani Poon hill Trek Package

Ghorepani Poon hill trek Package is one of the most popular short treks in Annapurna region. Poon hill is considered as the second best hill station in Pokhara after Sarankot Hill. View point at Poon hill offers panoramic views of Manaslu Mountain, Annapurna Mountain Range, Machhapuchhre Mountain and Dhaulagiri Mountain. Poon hill is also popular for its sunrise view. Ghorepani Poon hill trek itinerary usually lasts for 5days. The package begins with drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Exiting Kathmandu from the Check point in Thankot, we will follow Prithvi Highway for 5hrs to reach Pokhara. Drive for 45minutes from Prithvi Chowk to Nayapul. The route is scenic with views of Annapurna Range at the backdrop. Pass through Lumle village and reach Nayapul. Ghorepani Poonhill trekking begins from Nayapul. Follow Modi River and reach Tirkhedhunga from Birethanti. Walk through the forested area to Ulleri. Poon hill trek route progresses through Banthanti Village of Magars. Follow the ascending trail through Nangethanti to Ghorepani. Enjoy the views of Annapurna South Mountain, Hiunchuli Mountain, Lamjung Mountain, Nilgiri Moutain and other snow-clad mountains and peaks. Climb to the top of Poon hilland enjoy sunrise view over Dhaulagiri before lowering down through Tadapani to Ghandruk Village. Enjoy homestay in Ghandruk and descend through Birethanti to Nayapul. Ghorepani trekking ends at Nayapul. Another alternative trekking route for Ghorepani Poon hill trek is from Dhampus Phedi and Beni Bazaar. Adventure Himalaya Circuit regularly conducts Ghorepani Poonhill trekking. The trail takes us through several scenic villages where you will get ample opportunities about learning the local Gurung culture and traditions. Both teahouse trekking and camp trek are available for trekking in Ghorepani and Poon hill. The hotels have hot and cold water, electricity, western toilet and modern amenities. The cost for Poon hill trek includes Annapurna conservation area project (ACAP) entry permit fee.
