The picturesque view of the Himalayas, the dense forests covered by a blanket of Red Rhododendrons, the warm and caring Sherpa families, and adventure throughout, the trek to the Everest Base camp is everything that any adventure lover would go for.

Walking through the same trails that were once stepped on by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary on their ascent to the Mount Everest, the sheer presence in the trail is an experience of a lifetime. The similar flow towards the summit of the majestic peak gave rise to various possibilities among the adventure-seekers. Trekking to Mount Everest region has become absolutely perfect for those who are seeking for the closeness with nature, fun, thrill, adventure and exploration at the same take.

As the trek progresses, one can see the majestic view of the Mount Everest towering right by your side, along with attractions like the ancient Tengboche monastery, the famous Everest Base Camp, the beautiful Khumbu Icefall and Kalapatthar, one of the last landmarks on the way to Mount Everest. Although Everest Base Camp Trek can be pursued throughout the year, the most favourable seasons are autumn and spring. During autumn one can experience excellent weather and breath-taking mountainous sceneries while during the spring, varying species of wild flowers especially Red Rhododendrons make the trekking trail “A Road to Paradise”.

The Everest Base Camp Trek starts from Lukla, after taking a flight from Kathmandu. The trail from Lukla extends to Phakding, Dudh Koshi valley and then to Namche bazaar. On the way ahead, Breath-taking view of Everest flashes a smile at you from premises of Tengboche monastery. On Climbing downwards to village Pangboche and upwards to Pheriche one can get acquainted with local culture and traditions. Then on following the Khumbu glacier, we will reach Lobuche from where we can enjoy view of many peaks such as Amadablam, Taweche etc. The next destination will be Gorakhsep from where we can move towards Kalapatthar which is one of the major attractions of this trek.
