The starting point is just 3-3.5 hour drive from Kathmandu. The river which originates from the Gosaikunda region is relatively safe with rapid of 2-3 grades and provides a great opportunity to experience the magnificent views of serene beaches and rugged scenery along with the adventurous raft.
The river Marsyangdi is considered as one of the best rafting river in the world. Encounters with rapids of class IV to class V make this run an exciting and exhilarating one. Bhotekoshi river rafting
One of the most popular white-water rafting rivers of Nepal, Bhotekoshi originates from Tibet. Just a 3 hours drive from the capital city, it is located at the distance of 70km. east from Kathmandu.
After being open quite recently, it has started becoming very popular among rafters. Flowing through the deepest of gorges, it provides the rafters with a sense of thrill that comes along with rafting. Sliding through the steep path, Bhotekoshi will present all the rafters with a once in a life time opportunity to go through the most adventurous experience that one can have.
Bhotekoshi is really famous because of the torrents that make the river such a thrill. And not just that, the only bungee jumping in Nepal is based on the gorge of this river. The adrenaline rush, he beautiful natural surroundings and a group of enthusiasts like you, what could be more fun than this??
The lower section of the river rapids has the measure of 4 and the upper section has the rapids of 5-6 grade. Flowing down through all the mysterious canyons and boulders and passing through the wilderness, Bhotekoshi will give you an experience of rafting journey extending for 26 km throughout the snow white water which you'll never forget.
