Lower Dolpo trekking is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. Since its opening since 1989, it is very famous as the natural and cultural lush destination for the trekkers.

It's a trekking route that requires previous trekking experience because of the path that it follows. The trek that starts from Juphal moves across three high passes i.e. Kagmara La situated at an altitude of 5115m, Baga La located at 5190 m and Numa La at 5159 m. And a permit is necessary for trekking in this area.

Situated inside the Sheyphoksundo national park, the largest national park of Nepal, Dolpo is a very beautiful place to be. Lower Dolpo trekking route offers a close encounter nature in its untouched form. The raw charm that can be experiences is something that you'll remember for the rest of your life. The ancient villages of Tarakot, Tarap, Dho etc., magnificent view of pristine Sheyphoksundo lake, serene Buddhist monasteries are few of the attraction of this trek.

And when you spot rare species like red panda or blue sheep in the national park, or when you see the golden sun light streaming through the misty clouds then you'll understand the true meaning of beauty.
