The Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lake is an adventure that is for the lovers of long trekking trips. This trip is an amazing walking adventure in the Everest Region, in addition to breathtaking sceneries of the beautiful mountain range.

An ideal trekking package for the adventurers, Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lake takes us to the Mt. Everest base camp traversing across the Cho La pass at an altitude of 5420 m.

The trek also gives us the opportunity to climb a little summit of our own, Gokyo Ri at 5340m, a big feat for amateur mountaineers, and also through the famous Kala Patthar, one of the very last physical landmarks on the way to Mount Everest, located at 5554m. The area gives you the most breathtaking view of mountains, with peaks Mount Everest, Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, and Mount Cho Oyu all in a single view. Also, you get a closer look at the Khumbu Icefall.

The trail takes us through the banks of Dudhkoshi River, one of the fastest flowing mountain rivers in the country, the Ngojumba glacier, Gokyo-Ri valley, Gokyo Lake, and the best of it all, the Everest Base Camp. It is an ideal trek to the Everest region, for it showcases everything that the region has to offer.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Jiri (1905mt.) by bus.
Day 4: Jiri to Bhandara / Deurali (2250mt.)
Day 5: Bhandara to Sete (2575mt.)
Day 6: Sete to Junbesi (2675mt.)
Day 7: Acclimatization day at Junbesi.
Day 8: Junbesi to Nunthala (2750mt.)
Day 9: Nunthala to Puyan (2830mt.)
Day 10: Puyan to Phakding.
Day 11: Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440mt.)
Day 12: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar.
