Overview

One of the longest, yet the most adventurous treks around the Everest region is the Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek. The trek commences from Jiri and ends in Lukla. Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri not only provides you scintillating view of the Himalayas  along the way, but also gives you the chance of facing the real life difficulties that the people living there face on a daily basis.

The panoramic view of the mountains includes peaks including Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse , Mount Nuptse, Mount Amadablam , Mount Pumori, Mount Thamserku and other peaks, panoramic landscapes, stunning Rhododendron forests and lush valleys. Also, take time to experience the hospitality of the Sherpas and not to mention, try out a few products made in the region, like Yak cheese. Also, visit the beautiful Buddhist monasteries that have withstood the change of time and stand tall amidst the harsh weather.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu.


Day 2 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.


Day 3 : Kathmandu to Jiri (1905mt.) by bus.


Day 4 : Jiri to Bhandara / Deurali (2250mt.)


Day 5 : Bhandara to Sete (2575mt.)


Day 6 : Sete to Junbesi (2675mt.)


Day 7 : Acclimatization day at Junbesi.


Day 8 : Junbesi to Nunthala (2750mt.)


Day 9 : Nunthala to Puyan (2830mt.)


Day 10 : Puyan to Phakding.


Day 11 : Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440mt.)


Day 12 : Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar.


Day 13 : Namche Bazar to Tyangboche (3860mt.)


Day 14 : Tyangboche to Dingboche (4410mt.)


Day 15 : Acclimatization day at Dingboche.


Day 16 : Dingboche to Labuche (4910mt.)


Day 17 : Labuche to Gorakshep (5180mt.) after lunch trek to Everest Base Camp (5364mt.) and come back to Gorakshep.


Day 18 : Early morning climbing to Kalapatthar (5545mt.) and trek down to Gorakshep (5180mt)


Day 19 : Gorakshep to Pheriche (4240mt.)


Day 20 : Pheriche to Tyangboche (3860mt.)


Day 21 : Tyangboche to Namche Bazar (3440mt.)


Day 22 : Namche Bazar to Lukla (2840mt.)


Day 23 : Lukla to Kathmandu (1400mt.)
