Although a spectacular vantage point to enjoy the view, this pass gets fewer trekkers unlike Cho La pass in the region. Thorong La in Annapurna

While traversing the trail in the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you trek over this famous and beautiful pass called Thorong La. Situated 5,416 meters above the sea level, Thorong La lies in between two beautiful river valleys rising to mountainous surroundings. The river valleys of Marshyangdi and Kali Gandaki are divided by the pass. As the trekkers traverse the pass during their trekking around the Annapurna, they can certainly enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains in the surroundings.

Larke La in Manaslu

Another famous pass that you can trek over in Nepal is Larke La. This wonderful pass lies along the route of Manaslu Circuit Trek. Larke La is also a 5,000-meter pass that brings spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The trekkers around Manaslu stay overnight at Dharamshala, which is also called Larke Phedi, to acclimatize and to rest. Trekking over the pass is an early morning challenge but it offers you the reward of the wonderful feeling of the walk up towards the top of the pass.

Lauri Binayak La in Langtang

When you go for the beautiful Langtang Gosaikunda Trek, you can trek over the Lauri Binayak La. This is also the shortest pass of all listed here.  If you trek to Gosaikunda from Langtang valley and want the exit in Sundarijal, you will trek over this beautiful pass. We highly recommend you to do this if you ever plan to trek in the region. Trekking over the pass in addition to exploring the lake certainly gives you a wonderful adventure experience.
