Let’s talk about Kanchenjunga Trek Itinerary and Difficulty

This adventure is not only a remote area trekking but also one of the long trekking trips in Nepal. Our Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek has a 23-day itinerary from your arrival day to your departure day. Can we do it in less time?

Trying to complete the adventure in fewer days on the route that we are following keeps the adventure on the riskier side. While we are trekking in the high altitude of mountains, we have to be careful of the pace that we trek. We cannot simply run up the mountains. So, taking it easy and relaxed pace is the best way to do the trek in the high altitude of the mountains.

We do not recommend you to take lesser trekking days in the Kanchenjunga region as it keeps your adventure at the risk. As we have said earlier that we cannot rush in the mountains, we have to keep in mind that we are there to enjoy the mountains, nature, and beauty of the wilderness. Let’s take our time and keep the pace easy so that we can enjoy the best of the trek.

How difficult is Kanchenjunga Trek?

As a remote area and high-altitude trekking adventure, Kanchenjunga trek challenges trekkers in so many factors. Naturally, a long trek in the higher Himalayan altitude takes sound physical fitness. In addition, this adventure goes to a remote area where there are fewer facilities for accommodation and food. The trails are unmarked and, thus, confusing.

Kanchenjunga Trek Itinerary and difficulty level is something that you need to be aware of before you decide to go on the adventure. It is a difficult trek not only because of longer trekking days but also because of the altitude you achieve during the trek.

The trail you trek through is lonely with fewer villages along the route. It adds more challenge to the adventure as we come across fewer human beings. Most of the time we are by ourselves as we traverse the trail.

Communication to the outer world can be challenging as most places do not have communication networks. Trekking in Kanchenjunga is basically a trekking trip into the real Himalayan wilderness with the least modern facilities.

However, the Himalayan and natural beauty, a thrilling wilderness of the mountains, and your time there give you an unparalleled experience.
