As the title suggests, the destination of the adventure is the Everest base camp. And you will walk through the regular trekking route to the base camp. The adventure will take you past the villages like Lukla, Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep before reaching the base camp. The map remains the same as the normal trek but only the experience will be different.
Places along the Everest Base Camp Trek Map
Let’s take a look at what the places along the route are and learn a bit about these beautiful places.
Lukla
Lukla is the main gateway to the Everest region. You enter Lukla via flight and begin the trek to the Everest base camp. It is a beautiful village nestled in the lap of the mountains with amazing surroundings of the mountains and nature. The beauty of the village impresses you so much that the adventure journey starts with excitement.
Phakding
A beautiful overnight spot on the bank of the Dudh Koshi River, Phakding is the first overnight place when you start trekking from Lukla. You will reach Phakding after a mere four hours of walking. Staying overnight at this beautiful place is a wonderful first overnight in the mountains.
Namche Bazar
The bustling town of the Everest region, Namche bazaar is also famous as the Sherpa capital. You will not only get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings but also the facilities like in a city. It is amazing to learn what Namche Bazar has to offer in such a geographical location. Trekkers can enjoy a beautiful overnight stay at Namche.
Tengboche
Tengboche is another beautiful village along the Everest base camp trek map where you can stay overnight and experience wonderful mountain vibes. It has a beautiful monastery where you can observe amazing cultural rituals and spirituality. The spiritual vibes of the monastery also enrich the experience of the entire trek to the base camp.
Dingboche

Lobuche
Lobuche is an overnight spot where trekkers to the Everest base camp via Dingboche and Gokyo valley meet. It is an overnight stop with some guest houses where you can enjoy a comfortable stay in the mountains. You will also get to enjoy beautiful surroundings and the wilderness of the mountains.
Gorakshep
Gorakshep is the highest overnight stop on the Everest base camp trek map. This place is just below Kalapatthar and is amidst the glacial moraine. You will enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Himalayas as you spend overnight here and prepare for an early morning hike to Kalapatthar after exploring the Everest base camp.

You will also have a team of porters carrying your backpack in the mountains. A porter carries the backpacks of two trekkers and up to 20 kg only. So, when you pack your backpack, you need to make sure it doesn’t exceed 10 kg each.
