Everest Base Camp Trek after Earthquake
Published On : 26th Aug, 2019 By Adventure
We are delighted to announce that Adventure Himalaya Circuit has started accepting booking for Everest Base Camp Trek after Earthquake. Everest region suffered only minimum damage although the epicenter of the first earthquake of April 2015 was near Manaslu. Experts from TAAN have given green signal for EBC Trek after earthquake. Lukla Airport is fully functional and Everest base camp trekking route is in good shape. Many tea houses have resumed their service in Lukla and other villages. We make complete arrangement for Everest Base Camp Trek 2016. The simple fact of being home to world’s highest Mount Everest attracts many adventure enthusiasts to the land of Himalaya. The journey is rewarding in a sense that it allows better understanding of culture and tradition of legendary Sherpas. The path is scenic with views of Lhotse Mountain, Nuptse Mountain, Amadablam Mountain etc. Suspension bridges in Phakding were safe and teahouses have started their services in Phakding. Monjo has faced slightly more damage in comparison to Lukla and Phakding but one can still find teahouses. Restaurants and Lodges in Namche have become fully operational. Internet service has also resumed in Namche. Although there was only minor damage in Tengboche Monastery, many teahouses were damaged. So, it is a good idea to choose accommodation in Debuche rather than in Tengboche. Dingboche village is unharmed by the earthquake. Similarly, teahouses in Pheriche, Lobuche and Gorakshep have also started their services. By participating in Everest base camp trek, we will follow the classic route that was chosen by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenjing Norgay Sherpa, the first Everest summiteers. Most of the hospitals, museums and schools have suffered minimum to no damage. Everest trek after earthquake became possible when the legendary Sherpas cleared the landslide and reopened the route. Namche Bazaar has returned to its previous form. Most of the stores and shops have resumed their services. We invite our guests to come and participate in Everest Base Camp Trek post earthquake. Not only will you have a lifetime worth of experience in the Himalaya but you will also be contributing in the noble job of rebuilding Nepal after earthquake. Supporting local Sherpa communities has added one more reason for EBC Trek 2016.
