Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu
You will land in Kathmandu today as the first day of the trip. We will send a pickup vehicle to the airport to take you to the hotel where we come to meet you and talk about the trip. The details briefing will help keep you in the loop on what is going on during the trip. Your time today is free time to just relax and adjust to the new environment of the country. You may like to go around for a wander, wear off the jet lag and be ready for a wonderful day tomorrow.
Day 02: Explore Kathmandu
You will be up for a wonderful day of exploring the cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. The places you explore today are Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. These three places will certainly give you a good experience of Nepali culture, history, and spirituality. Exploring the medieval wonders in Patan Durbar Square; watching the Hindu cremation ritual in Pashupatinath and indulging in the peaceful vicinity of Boudhanath make your day wonderful.
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara
You will take a morning flight to go to Pokhara today. It is just 25 minutes of flight with a beautiful view of the Himalayan range along the route. Once you reach Pokhara and check into the hotel, you will set out on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful lake city. Visit the International Mountain Museum to learn about the mountains, people, and lifestyles there. Later, after lunch, you will also go for a boat trip on the Lake. After the boat trip finishes, drive to Davis falls and World Peace Stupa for the sunset.
Time to explore the Jungle and Wildlife
Day 04: Drive to Chitwan
Although it is the day to drive to Chitwan, you will have a wonderful sunrise tour in Pokhara early this morning. Wake up early in the morning and drive for about half an hour up the mountain to Sarangkot. Sarangkot takes you face-to-face with the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. You can also enjoy the sunrise over the mountains. After the sun rises, drive back to the hotel in Pokhara; take your breakfast, and get ready to leave Pokhara for Chitwan.
The drive to Chitwan will be of about 4.5 hours. Upon reaching the hotel in Chitwan, you will be briefed about the schedule of jungle safari activities for today and tomorrow. Follow the schedule and get an awesome experience of the jungle. You will also go to an interesting Tharu cultural show in the evening.
Day 05: Explore the Jungle
It is a full day of exploring the wildlife in the jungle of Chitwan. You will go for an exciting elephant ride, canoe ride, and jungle walk. You will also visit the elephant breeding center. All the activities are scheduled for you to see the wild animals. You may come across a one-horned rhino, deer, bears, crocodiles, and possibly the Bengal tiger. You will enjoy watching several species of birds during the activity. The day will keep you busy with exciting jungle safari activities.
Day 06: Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel to drive back to Kathmandu. About six hours of drive will take you to Kathmandu. Once you reach the hotel and check in, you will certainly have time to relax or wander around.
Day 07: Departure
