One of the most unexplored pockets of Asia, Bhutan is the mystic land where people come to visit the enchanting monasteries and temples as well as to trek the majestic Himalaya and admire the mountainous pastures. This land’s customs and traditions have gone strong after centuries, and cultural festivals celebrated here with historical values is just mesmerizing.
 
A limited number of discerning travelers are allowed to experience this place as to preserve its fragile environment and culture in its magical purity. This country of captivating hills and towering crags certainly exudes its charm to all the visitors passing through. The magnificent mountains, the dense forest, the delightful people living here as well as the inspiring art and architecture always fascinate any one visiting here. Like timeless images from the past, the traveler experiences the ancient land through its strategic fortresses known as Dzongs, numerous ancient temples, monasteries and stupas.

Fly to Paro from Kathmandu. On your arrival at Paro airport, our company representative will warmly receive and welcome you to experience amazing Bhutan. You will then be driven to your hotel and checked in.
A sightseeing tour of Paro is due for this afternoon. This culturally insightful tour of Paro this afternoon is a first-hand experience of Bhutanese life, culture, and people. We will visit Bhutanese farms, ancient temples, and monasteries and also take strolls around the streets in Paro. We can experience the spiritual richness, simplicity in lifestyle, and magnificence of cultures during the day tour of Paro today. 
After a wonderful sightseeing tour at Paro yesterday, we are driving to the capital city of Bhutan. Thimpu, the bustling capital city, lies some 50 kilometers northeast of Paro. We drive along the highway past the confluence of two famous rivers – Pachu and Wangchu - and visit a temple called Tachog Lakhang on the way and finally reach Thimpu after about one and half hours of easy drive. 
Once we reach Thimpu and check into a hotel, we go for a sightseeing tour of the famous places there. We visit Postal Museum, folk heritage museum, painting school, textile museum, etc. We will also explore a 17th-century monastery called Tango monastery and get some insight into monastic life.
We set off on a drive to Punakha on the Thimpu Punakha highway. About 3 hours of the drive takes us further about 85 kilometers northeast to Punakha. The highway goes over Dochula pass which stands at 3,140 meters above sea level with stunning views of the mountain panorama. We also stop along the way to visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang and enjoy the beauty of mural paintings there that record important events in history.
Later in the afternoon, the Punakha tour brings us across Chhimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Lhakhang, and many other interesting places in and around Punakha. After an incredible exploration of Punakha, we go to the hotel and relax.
We are returning back to Paro from Punakha today. The plan after reaching Paro is to go for Tiger's Nest Exploration. We will spend a wonderful day in Paro today.
On the last day of this trip, we drive you to the airport for your flight back home or onward destination.
