Langtang valley trekking
is a wonderful trekking route which takes you across the Langtang valley. Langtang valley, also known as "the valley of glaciers" is one fo the most famous trekking destintion of all times. The trail takes us from the green and lush forest of rare vegetation such as pine, juniper, rhododendron and other species. The fast flowing mountain streams, mighty peaks and grassy meadows full of blooming flowers, you get the idea of heaven on earth.
Syabru Besi village is the starting point and is famous for its rich Tamang Culture Heritage. The route talks you along a sub-tropical forest and then through dense jungle of pine, oak and birch. And this trail will ultimately open up to open meadows with yaks grazing everywhere. Flowers blooming everywhere, tree orchids, rhododendrons, and everything in the surrounding will make you feel as if you've travelled to a different universe. The view of Langtang Lirung, Pemthang Ri, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Kangchenpo, high passes, crystalline lakes and large glaciers is the main attraction of the whole trek.
Since you'll be travelling through the Tamang and Sherpa villages, you'll even have the opportunity to glance into the rich culture and traditions of those people who've been living there for ages. The monasteries, cheese factories and the various cultural heritages falling on the way plays an important role in making this trek an unforgettable journey.
