Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310m)

 Once you land at the only international Airport of Nepal in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative. He will transfer you to the luxurious three star category hotel where you will get briefing of your itinerary. Have a comfortable stay overnight in hotel.   


 Day 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2600m)

It would be wise to take morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. It takes 30minutes of flight duration from Kathmandu to Lukla. After lowering down at Lukla Airport, we will assemble the crew. Once porters prepare necessary luggage, we start our Everest Base Camp Kalapattar Trek. We will reach Phakding where we will stay overnight.

 
Day03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (2835m) 6hrs


Our journey initiates along Dudhkoshi River and takes us to pine forest. Crossing the suspension bridge, we will make it to the tiny settlement of Zapute. We need to cross Benkar and Chumoa villages to make it to Monjo. Entrance gate to Sagarmatha National Park is located in Monjo. We will cross Hillary Bridge and arrive at Namche Bazaar where we will stay overnight.

 

Day04: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Including a day of rest at Namche Bazaar in your trekking itinerary is a fine idea as it helps your body in proper acclimatization to higher altitude. Side walk can be arranged in Thame village for close observation of Sherpa culture. Khumjung, Khunde and Everest View Hotel are other popular options. Stay overnight in Namche.

 

Day05: Trek to Deboche (3720m)

We will begin with an easy trek along the scenic path with panoramic views of Everest Mountain, Nuptse Mountain, Thamserku Mountain and other Mountains. We will cross the rhododendron forest and make it to Sanasa. The area is rich in Himalayan wildlife. From Sanasa, we will reach Khumbu’s largest Tengboche monastery and continue further to Debuche where we will stay overnight.

 

Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4412m)

Leaving Deboche early in the morning, we will descend to Imja River. An easy couple of hours of trek will take us to Pangboche (3860m). We will visit Khumbu’s oldest Pangboche Monastery before pursuing the ascending path to Lobuche River. From the river, we will follow the ascending trail all the way to Dingboche.

 

Day 07: Acclimatization in Dingboche (4412m)

We will take much needed second acclimatization day in Dingboche. Our camping site allows scenic views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse and other mountains. Dingboche also allows enticing view of Imja River. We will stay overnight in Dingboche.

 

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4940m) 5-6hrs

Leaving Dingboche early in the morning, we will retrace our route back to Pheriche and continue walking till we reach Dugla. The journey continues along moraine of Khumbu glacier and takes us to Chupki Lhara. Walking along the memorial site for Everest climber Babu Chhiri Sherpa, we will reach Lobuche where we will stay overnight.

 

Day09: Trek to E.B.C (5364m), Return to Gorakshep (5164m)

 Journey on 9th day begins along Gorak Shep Lake and we will reach Indian army mountaineers' memorials. Walking along moraine, we will reach Everest Base Camp. The camp site allows scenic views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori Mountains. We will retrace our route back to Gorakshep.  

 

Day10: Trek to Kala Pathar (5545m), Back to Pheriche (4250m)

Trek on 10th day begins much early than sunrise as our target will be to watch sunrise view from Kalapattar. We might need to face obstacle of thin air at this high altitude. Along with sunrise view, Kalapattar also allows views of Lingtren, Khumbutse, Everest and other mountains. We will retrace our route back to Pheriche and stay overnight.

 

Day11: Trek to Phortse (3750m)

Leaving Pheriche, we will head towards Phortse. We can get panoramic views of Cholatse and Tawache peaks. From Pheriche, we will follow the descending trail to Phortse. We will visit local monastery in Pheriche before overnight stay.

 

Day 12: Trek to Namche (2835m)

 We will take early morning breakfast and then head to Phortsethanga which is a small settlement consisting of tea houses. We will descend through pine and rhododendron forest and arrive at the wooden bridge which we will cross to reach Sanasa village. Stay overnight in Namche.  

 

Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2800m)

 Lowering down from Namche, we will arrive at the bridge over Dudh Koshi River. Crossing the bridge, we will move forward to Monjo where security officials will check our papers. We will return to Lukla via Phakding. Stay overnight in Lukla. 

 

Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu flight

We will take early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. We will reach Kathmandu in 30 minutes. Upon landing at Kathmandu, we will transfer to hotel. Enjoy a free day in Kathmandu. You can go for shopping in Thamel.

 

Day 15: Departure 

You will be taken to International Airport three hours prior to your scheduled flight.
